Actor Paul Walker died Saturday afternoon following a single-car accident in Los Angeles. He was 40.
Emails to Walker's reps were not immediately returned Saturday evening.

The Fast and the Furious star was a passenger in a Porsche GT that crashed into a tree and exploded into flames during a test spin, according to a post on his official Facebook page. Both Walker and the driver were killed as a result.
"We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news," the Facebook post reads. "Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time."
The actor was in San Clarita, Calif., to attend a car show in support of relief efforts for the recent typhoon in the Philippines, according to TMZ, which first reported the news.

Born in Glendale, Calif., Walker's film credits include Varsity Blues, Joy Ride and Flags of Our Fathers, in addition to the Fast and the Furious series.
He has one daughter, Meadow, 15.
